Vicor patented, non-isolated fixed ratio converter technology delivers high density and efficiency DC-DC power conversion in small packages. This innovative and proprietary Converter Housed in Package design (ChiP) is exclusively manufactured in the Vicor state-of-the-art ChiP™ fab located in Andover, Massachusetts. Designers can use these high-performance power modules to integrate 12V loads into newer 48V infrastructure or introduce 48V capabilities into existing 12V infrastructures. An added benefit to the NBM family of converters is they are capable of supporting bidirectional power paths making them even more versatile.
